Application: New Addition to Existing Plant

In 1999, this Indiana metal stamper planned ahead to maximize the production potential of a new 14,000 ft2 building addition by adding an in-ground (under press) scrap removal system at the onset of their project. With the advise of knowledgeable Prab consultants, they were able to install a custom engineered system which would fully meet their current and future needs.

Designed to Handle: A wide range of stamping scrap sizes and convey them to a central loadout area.


System Includes:
Six foot deep pit under presses with safety
grating
116 foot long oscillating conveyor
Scrapveyor II for material elevations
A Steel Belt Shuttle Conveyor system for
automatic and even distribution of material
Two fully automated diverter chute systems
to evenly fill dual scrap dumpsters
